I know no-one wants to go back to station ping-pong like we had before with stations changing hands every timezone .... but using POS's to stop that just does not work. How about removing large POS's from game and only having small ones for sov, that can only be anchored at planets (how many station systems have 50+ moons, bet they dont have 50+ planets). Yeah there will be some ping pong if stront is not managed well, but at least we would not need to send blobs to blow one up.
Speed tanking used to be rare, its now completely ott and needs to be sorted. Fecking with gun tracking just will not do. All that will do is make the ishtar, sac and any other hac that can be nanoed up into the new FOTM .. the root needs to be sorted, mods stacking nerfed, snakes and other speed implants severely nerfed (or stacking penalised with the mods) Also upping some missle stats so that they can do some damage to very high speed ships would help a lot (not just small missles, but heavies and cruise)
Missions are boring, just get the name of the mission, pop it into google and you know exactly what to do and how to tank. Make the npc's more random in the missions, also fewer of the npc's and harder ones would be nice. And why is it that the npc's in some missions aggro the second a drone is launched? why dont they do the same for a missle being launched?
There should be no insurance payout for people who were popped by concord. Also they should get a far higher sec status loss if they kill a ship/pod in high sec. The guy who said to reduce the price of ships to 10% of current prices is spot on, but it would mean that npc stations would have to start selling them ... or else the mineral requirements would have to drop 90% on everything .... All the people who play for just a short while every week could have some pvp knowing that they would not have to mine/mission for a week to recoup losses. /edit Just to say that reducing ship prices this much and possibly making them npc saleable would have the effect of killing off jita. If people can get their ships all over the place at the same prive they would spend more time blowing each other up and less time sitting in a station buying and selling |
